The iPhone 4 had the most negative marketing out of all the iPhones.
From the 'prototype' leak, to antenna issues. I think Apple is milking as much money as they can with the iPhone 4, while keeping the iPhone 5 top secret.
I'm predicting that the sales of the white one will be like the Verizon iPhone, nothing spectacular.

I agree - I'm not a huge fan of the pie that's used in iWeb. Definitely prefer the blue filling up the URL bar...:(

Nope, I've never enabled them before on my iPad as I'm not an official Apple developer and I didn't have access to the beta release that included this feature in the past.

You do know there are clear cases used to protect the phone from scratches, right? And rigid "bumper" style cases that still show off the front and back. Not every case covers up the entire phone.

This would be a good quick way for Apple to lose a couple billion dollars, and some face. As has been said, TV is a very mature market with deeply entrenched players fighting over scraps of profit. There is no way Apple could innovate enough in this area that would compel people to ditch their existing sets, and pay an Apple premium. Google is failing miserably with their attempt.
These are the strategies I see Apple taking:
1. License Airplay. Now any iOS device streams to legions of TVs, bluray decks, and receivers.
2. Enhance Apple TV with apps and games.
3. Profit.

Also, the more we talk about him, the more he wins. If people continue to talk about him, he will just keep winning. There really is not anything else to discuss, but the media seems to enjoy rehashing his choices for some reason.

Call me crazy, but I'd not be surprised if Leopard was a free update for Tiger owners - if not all Mac owners.
You're crazy. :) But one thing I would like to see is a free upgrade to iLife for everyone who upgrades Leopard. Or else some kind of Leopard / iLife buy-together discount. That would be most welcome.

It's just bravado and backslapping BS following a victory. Great that Bin Laden's out of the way - but Al Qaeda has mutated into a distributed concept - not a hierarchical force.
A lot of the Al Qaeda myth was built by the US keen to find a 'bogeymen' anyhow.

Yeah, its rather like an Apple computer: it works and works well. Plus it has nifty little features and all.
When I first got my MBP, I think the software was not Universal, but they made it UB shortly afterwards, so I was using programmed buttons in no time. It really is easier than ctrl-click though sometimes I still do that out of recently developed instinct :)

Ah, I completely forgot about PCI-Express based SSDs. I kept thinking about 6Gbps SATA SSDs.
Also, "SSD drive" is redundant :).
TB is basically PCIe + Display Port video.
Part of the discussion on expansion cards for Mac Pros was that, according to Intel, TB must have direct access to the PCIe lanes and the graphics processor. In theory, someone could come up with a PCIe graphics processor board with a TB controller, ports & etc, but the question will be whether there is a sufficiently large market for the device.
Whether a RAID array saturates TB or not, the bottom line is that TB is a great deal faster than even an eSATA connection. When will TB 2.0 come out? Who knows? Let's see how version 1.0 is adopted.

Am i the only person who is relieved that the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 aren't coming out anytime soon? I feel like i've lucked out buying an iPhone that isn't revised in a year of me buying it! I would be devastated if an iPad 3 came out in september, i don't like being constantly last generation. Plus the IP4 and iPad2 are pretty great as they are
lol If you think about what you just said, there really shouldn't be a reason to dislike being "last generation" if you are happy with how they are now. It's a stigma that almost everyone has when it comes to not having the newest thing but honestly people should realize that, if they think what they have is good already, something new being released doesn't actually lessen the quality of what you already had. But with that being said, getting an older one that is so close to the release of the next one is a bit more understandable because of the proximity, but regardless, if you're happy with it then it's good

I heard Apple is working on the new, next generation rice cooker.

Now they are. The problem is it took them a couple of years. They waited until Intel produced mobile chips that "suit" them instead of producing a Mac that could use available quad core mobile chips. And we are not even talking about minor details like Apple never using the most powerful versions of CPUs (for example, there is no MBPs with SandyBridge/2920XM).
Apple has never used extreme edition processors. It's outside the scope of their market (aside from beyond their TDP).
However, that's immaterial to the overall point. You tried to claim that apple skimps on some products, therefore them skimping on LTE because they can makes sense. That's no longer the case, Apple does use mobile quad core processors, so your claim no longer has any basis.
